I Will Sing…

 

When life is sweet and all is well

And pride and joy make my heart swell

With tones that peal clear like a bell

I will sing

 

When in pure quietness I rest

Among my loved ones, feeling blessed

At home in my most hallowed nest

I will sing

 

And even though my sad heard aches

With grieving and the toll it takes

My soul will lift the song it makes

I will sing

 

Someday I’ll leave this earthly place

No longer bound by time and space

At last I’ll see my Maker’s face

and I will sing
